There is a really good book: What to Expect when You are Expecting.
What to expect when your expecting is a good one.
Book: What to expect when your expecting
online: http://www.babycenter.com/
Check out different websites on line there is a lot of information out there for new mothers and expectant ones too ! god luck and congratulations.
What To Expect The First Year is a great book. You can find it at any bookstore or your local baby store (Babies R Us). Or if you would like, I can sell you mine for cheap?
If you are in the UK, visit your doctor & tell them you are pregnant & get checked out.
They will give you some great books free. Very informative.
My partner is expecting our first in March.
Congratulations!
go to your local library there are plenty of pregnancy books
also WH Smith and Waterstones, Borders do good books
visit bbc.co.uk and click on Parenting
there is a free pregnancy calender, and lots of reading material on what to expect in pregnancy / childbirth and so on
good luck ! :)
My favorite was " what to expect when expecting". Then theres "Baby: the first year". Go to your local Barnes and Noble, Books a Million or Borders and go to the parenting section. You'll find tons of books you can browse through before you buy them. Good luck :)
YES!! The title of the book is "what to expect when you are expecting" This book is a must have for a pregnant woman, it covers it all. I am twenty three weeks pregnant and I can tell you that I resort to this book daily. It has just about every answer to my questions. It also covers pregnancy month by month. Also you should go to babycenter.com and register with them for free they send weekly advice to pregnant woman and what to eat how to exercise and pictures of how the baby should be devolping that week and what the baby may be doing or feeling. It is awesome. Check it out.
I hope this was helpful to you and good luck
any thing by miriam stoppard she is very informative
I found Conception, Pregnancy and Birth (Miriam Stoppard) very useful when I was expecting. I also found out an awful lot by talking to other expecting parents and new families. Don't ignore them as a source of information, although the things they say can be conflicting sometimes, there is usually something useful to learn from them.

The Girlfriend's Guide To Pregnancy is a good one. Not really a medical book, but a hilarious one. It's told from a friend's perspective and really tells you what the drs. won't.
