Can a newborn baby be born with KLEBSIELLA bacteria of 100,000 in urine but the mother have no sign?
if the mother tested clear of the bacteria before and after the birth is it feasible to assume the bacteria came from an outside sorce.example instruments or persons.

This website may shed some light, it is a study based on a neonatal unit and although it doesn't disscuss mothers bacteria levels it seems to suggest that alot of babies in the unit had the klebsiella bacteria. So I guess outside source is to blame!
