I am 4 days late took a test twice 1 said negotive the other one said positve but is was a very faint line.?
I just found out i started to bleed this morning not sure if spotting or i am on my period. But the pregnancy test said positive but faint line

You need to see a gynecologist ASAP. My pregnancy test showed a "faint" line as well. Sure enough I was pregnant. Given that you are probably pregnant.I would be a little leery about the bleeding/spotting. That would most likely be bad.
Please see your doctor before getting crazy about the above information. You will never know until you see him/her and get some tests done.

Wait a few more days, try another test or go to the doctor.
Try another two tests or see a gynecologist.

go and take another two, if your still not positive what one it is, go to the clinic, trust me. better done now than later, you need to be prepared if you are. for example; what are you going to do withit if you are?
even if it's a faint line you may still be pregnant. just wait a day or so and check again.
The line is often faint when you take the test early in the day getting stronger in appearance in the evening. Try another test later to make sure, because of bleeding.

I took a peg test and the line was very faint so i waited and took another first thing when I woke ( best time) to take one and I was pregnant but I still got my period I know it is weird but make a doc appt and get a blood test tHEN YOU DEF KNOW ALL DEPENDS ON YOUR BODY WITH THE BLEEDING
You better take another test. U can still have a period at the beginning of your prgnancy. I did until I was 4months.
You should contact your Dr. I worked for a Dr and we always told a pt there was not way that you could have a false positive but if you are bleeding you are probably having a miscarriage.

I am told by the pharmacist that you can get a false negative test but never a false positive one, no matter how fine the line is. Go see your GP asap.

Hormone HCG is what the test looks for this is not immediately present so you need to wait up to a week...stop buying tests book a gp appointment and they'll do the test for free. If it's positive they can book all your appointments for you straight away. Good Luck
you need to calm down..its your nerves that is making your period late.. and also when taking a preg test you should take it first thing in the morning as soon as you wake up..but calm down and im sure you will start your period and also still take that test b/c you can have periods and still be preg.. good luck

Their is almost never a false positive.. unless it is a chemical pregnancy.. Your bleeding may be implantation bleeding! Congrat's!
I would certianly go to the doctor for a blood test because I had the same problem as you and I was pregnant and it was eptopic and they had to terminate my twins a faint line could be a sign you tested early and the bleeding could be the egg attaching to the lining of your utuers good luck hope it turns out the way you want.

If the line was faint but clearly detectable then you could very well be pregnant but if you held it to the light and really tried hard to see the line then you probably aren't. I'd say leave it for another couple of days and if your period doesn't start properly try testing again. Hope it turns out ok.
