this is normal - dont worry
yeah its normal it happened to me as well.
maybe your body is preparing for a visitor, could be your baby will be early or you Miss counted
Yes this is quite normal nothing to worry about. Mother of 3
yes it's normal.. it called colostrum. It's you body beginning it milk production. This will turn into milk after breast feeding for a few weeks after the baby is born if you choose to breast feed..
yes i had this it is the start of your milk, i had it from 18 weeks but didn't badly leak untill 7 months go to www.bounty.co.uk it is a brilliant site for people trying to concieve right up untill they're 10 years old lots of info and discussion forums hope this was help full. do give the site a go tho and i might see you on it some time, good luck with every thing x
yes this is normal. your body is preparing itself to feed the baby.
this is very normal..it will increase as you get closer to your due date.good luck.
very normal dont worry
yes. however do not try to pump because it will cause more to secrete and its the colostrum that your baby needs that comes in before the milk starts. you may notice it more if you have pressure on your breasts like laying on them or pressing against something, in a hot shower or just because it can:) to save yourself from embarrassing leaks use the breast pads, because you never know when it will happen. unlike after you have your baby you always expect it.
Quit squeezing them because it can cause contractions and early labor!
This is normal, I had it quite early. It may be wise to invest in breast pads because it could get worse. Thankfully my work shirt was black so nobody noticed if I leaked!
yes this is very normal your breast are lactating ( leaking colostrum which is the first milk that you produce it has all the antibodies in it) i first started 'leaking' at 16 weeks with my first pregnancy
Hello Dear,
Hi my name is Janine..i am27rs and live in Devon. You sound very worried..please do not be alarmed, after having two children myself..i noticed this leakage from my nipples in both pregnaces at this stage.Your body is getting prepared..there are going to be a lot of body changes juring pregnacy..adnwhen it,s your first time you can feel afraid as i did the first time..all you need to do is put your feet up when you feel tired, eat plenty of fresh fruit, and be totally amazed at what wonderful things nature can do.all babies are a miricle.
good luck..and enjoy being pregnant.
You have colostrum!! Yes it is normal and it will continue to be there until the baby is born. Right now, it should only be a clearish-yellowish liquid and feel almost sticky when you rub it between your fingers. If you are lucky- and some women are- you might get your milk to come in before you give birth. Some people might tell you not to try and express it yourself, but I see no harm in making sure your baby's first meal is as good as it can be.
i started to "leak" at 18 weeks so i guess it's normal , i never asked the doctor but i had excellent milk production
Dear Cheryl
Yes,it's colostrum.(yellow)
Yes it's normal for your boobs to come on-line now.
Use breast pads if it's a persistent leak, and mention it to your midwife/Dr / healthvisitor.
Find out all about breast feeding from the
"La Leche League": they have an internet site and contacts worldwide who have breastfed & can tell you all about what's happening to you & help you plan ahead..
" Whatever works for you" is my motto for Mums & their babies:
Breastfeeding worked well for me & my daughter, but I wish I had Known to have "Lansinoh" cream ready and that it helps to have a pump so you can express milk and give yourself a rest . I found the AVENT range of products the most helpful.
Anyway, best wishes for this v. special time.

P.S. There are still some wrong ideas floating around about breastfeeding, even the medics can't tell you everything. La Leche League has a book that really helped me out too,but the best help I got was from other Mums who had successfully fed.
Go to your doctor, don't want to worry you but my friend had leaking early on and she has to have a brain scan as soon as she gives birth as she may have a tumor/clot on her brain, really really not saying its not normal for them to leak but with my 1st i was probably 30 weeks and the fluid was quite thick, please get this checked out
very normal just one of those things no one tells you about i am 23 week and have the same thing also did with my first baby
im 33 wks and havnt had any leaking yet,but i suppose women are all different during pregnancy.
I've read all the other answers and there seems to be one thing missing - maybe they all think it goes without saying but you need to stop the secretion from drying out and building up on your nipples otherwise you will get sore. Bathe yourself in warm water. May seem obvious but nobody else seems to have mentioned it - oh - and it is perfectly normal. father of seven - all breast fed. Good luck with the baby.
its your milk! i was only 13 weeks preg when i started! its totally normal
This is your body storing milk for your baby it is nothing to worry about as long as it looks like a diluted milk colour or even slightly yellow, if you are concerned speak to your midwife and explain your situation and she will advise you more, but it may be time to break open that packet of breast pads
Good luck and congrats
yea its normal so dont worry its only the pre milk stuff think its called colostrum BUT if ur still not sure go to the midwife but im sure thats wot it is good luck
quite normal,don't worry.
