my nephew did not talk (not even mama) until he was 3 1/2, everyone including the doctors were worried, we had a speech therapist come once a week for about two months and he started talking, that was 5 years ago and he hasn't stopped yet. i will say a prayer for her, maybe she is just behind.
lots of tummy time. and play with your child and try not to do everything for her.
Possible autism. See a physician immediately.
yeah let her fall that is how she will learn
WELL MAKE SURE YOUR BABY HAS THERE OWN TIME TO HAVE TO JUST KICK BACK AND DO WHAT EVER THEY WANT BABYIE DONT DO THINGS ALL AT A CERTAIN AGE GIVE IT TIME THERE IS NOTHING WRONG WITH YOUR BABY AND ODNT BE TO PUSHY ..
While waiting you can go check with another doctor. It is always good to get a second opinion from an expert.
I am certainly not trying to scare you, but this is how my son was before he was diagnosed with CP (cerebral palsy), I am not saying this is what is wrong with your daughter, because I am not a doctor. I would wait to see the specialist and see what their diagnosis is.
well all baby's learn everything at there own pas she just may not be ready to learn all that yet, just give it time and don't push it,just because she isn't sitting up yet or doing all that other stuff doesn't mean she has something wrong, she is just taking her time it is perfectly normal for alot of babies to be like that, just give it time and relax theres nothing wrong with her.
go with the possible autism answer.
Your doc is right. You wait, and go back for a checkup. Babies are individuals, all develop at their own pace and some need more time to reach certain milestones. But do go to the spec, if worried
is there any history either on your side or the fathers of autism,If you are that worried i think you should get another opion
give it some time all babies learn at there own pace. Don't rush you will be surprised what they don't do today they will do tomorrow they just might be a late bloomer. Just talk to your pediatrician and they will let you know if they feel there is any concerns.
Just go with the doctor then as I had a baby who was not sitting up by seven months all he did was roll around the floor. By nine months he was up and walking every where. However it may be an indication of a developmental delay so best to check with your doctor. GOOD LUCK!!!
My son never rolled over! Babies develop at all different rates, some people have text book babies that hit all of their milestones at the same time, others will hit them earlier or later.
If you're baby is healthy and happy and gaining weight and the doctor can see no physical development issues with her then try not to worry.
Try and encourage your baby by spending lots of floor time with her, putting things just a little out of her reach so she has to work for them.
As long as your doctor is keeping a close check on her then you are already doing the right things.
She may have an issue with hearing things. Have you had her hearing tested?
I suggest taking her to a child health burse or doctor because skipping milestones can mean larger problems if left to long.
My middle daughter was like this, but she has caught up. Give her tummy time, put toys out of her reach so she has to scoot or roll to get it. She will be frustrated, but her determination will get her to moving.
How soon can I return to work after having a baby?
is it wrong that i don't want other peoples help looking after my son?
strange question but can you tell me ?
Positive Pregnancy test.?
is there a chance that i might be up the duff?
best baby bedtime routine?
Omeprazole?
pains in todelers legs?
