My cycle is 30 days in lenght and my most fertile days are between 13 and 17. i have bought ovulation tests for next month as i am on day 15 this month. i have also looked into cervical mucus monitoring has anyone tried this and does it work? i know it's only four months but to me it feels like a lifetime i think before trying to conceive you just take conceiving automatically for granted. thankyou for all your help. Good luck to any one else trying to conceive as well.x

I can understand how you feel, I am trying to conceive aswell and the waiting is horrible. I have tried to take the temperature and also to check the mucus, but I find it to complicated. I guess using an ovulation kit is the easiest.
Good luck! :)
just keep trying and hopefully it will happen, don't be so ruled by it that it becomes a chore, just enjoy all the fun your having while trying
Just enjoy the practice! Go back on the pill so the practicing doesnt stop! Sorry, can't offer any great advice on this one, but I'm sure you'll get a lot of serious answers, so I thought I'd cheer the mood. Good luck, and keep practicing. If you want any help.
Don't let if over take you life. Try not to be anxious every month waiting to see if you start your period or not. relax. Enjoy trying and stop thinking babies. I believe a lot of it is because you wind yourself up and put pressure on your body nothing happens. When I wanted a baby my partner were at it like rabbits sometimes 3 time a day. I found out that the more you have sex the less sperm there are. i know people that the minute they say lets stop trying and just see what happens, they fall pregnant.
Good luckxx
Cervical mucous observation is a great way to get to know your body and how it works. I had two of my five by watching out for the changes in mucous. Since July is not a long time to be trying . I would wait another year before seeking help. You are still young and have lots of time. Try not to upset yourself over it, because tension can affect your ability to concieve! Just keep reminding yourself that the majority of couples take 12 - 18 months to concieve. I know you think that the human race are breeding like rabbits, but in fact, getting pregnant is such a tricky combination of timing and luck that it's almost a miracle ! Best wishes!
You're doing nothing wrong - except let yourself get a bit too over anxious. By my maths I make it about 4-5 months of trying. It is perfectly reasonable for any couple to take around 12 to 18 months to conceive, so you're well within that time frame yet. If you haven't had any luck after a year I would suggest seeking out some basic fertility tests. There still might be nothing wrong but it's worth checking at that point.

Please stop stressing as it doesn't help and good luck!
Listen, my wife and I "did it wrong" for eight years. Four months really isnt that long. Relax, enjoy and if in a couple more months things are still not working.then consider seeing your ob dr.
