"Dyslexia the miracle cure."Has anyone been through the Dore program who would give me an idea if this is ok?

I have a six and a half year old daughter with learning problems. She has purple lensed glasses which have stopped the words dancing around on the page and enabled her to drastically improve her reading. She still can vocalise all answers correctly but cannot write them down as she wants and does not recognise that words and letters numbers are wrong / back to front after writing them. She has all the symptoms of dyslexia, ADHD and dyspraxia but not severely, we have sorted out her speech delay problems and stuttering with a speech therapist but the school have been less than helpful with her clumsiness, lack of attention, lack of ability to follow complex instructions, need for extra help, lack of ability to dress quickly, focus, nor been very supportive about her lack of self estime nor her being bullied . Would going to a Dore acheivement centre and continuing the program for a year benefit her when she turns seven? Have you tried it out ? Did it help? Do you have any advice?

Answers:
My brother has Dyslexia, and has the tinted glasses, his are pink, and they seem to work for him.

Good luck.
The glasses work great I gave some to a kid I use to tutor.
On the other hand did you know that most kids in the US who have ADHD symptoms are actually showing allergies to either food or the environment?
You should talk to a doctor to have her checked for allergies my Mother-in-law did it for my hubby when he was younger and now he is better with attention and concentration. I hope all works out.
i have a child of 5 that has simular problems it took me moving her to a school that deals with special needs to help her fit in at school , she has a problem with her confidence and communication she also has a mild delay at processing information and using the toilet, people think that because she is bright in some areas that there is nothing truly wrong with her but examinations show she did, for her physical they put her on a program to increase her confidence , the only advice i can give you is to be there for your daughter and show her with every bit of progress she gains that your proud of her , my daughter is gradually developing skills where she was lacking , it just takes encouragement and patience
