Go get a book called " what to expect when you are expecting" by Heidi Murkoff. It's the pregnancy bible and will help with all these questions. I refer to it almost daily right now and I am due Feb 2, 2007. Your question as well as many others that you would not expect is in there. It's excellent in describing all of these little things that worry moms and help distinguish when something is "normal" or not.
Good Luck
as far as i am aware, it differs with each pregnancy. being tired is a very common sign of pregnancy. if you are worried then go and see your GP. there are a number of websites as well that explain pregnancy. I am pretty sure that what you are describing is very normal.
Everyone is different. Some of my friends had no symptoms at all, others like me were sick for months! The tiredness is usual tho. Congratulations and good luck with everything x
Yes it is. Come her 3rd month she'll start to regain her energy and finally be back to old self until about the 7th month when the "nesting" stage begins
8 weeks is very early on m8.. jst give it time then you will know wot is not normal lol
Yes this is perfectly normal. Not all women have morning sickness. And she may not even have tender breast until her 8th month, when she starts making colostrum. You should be glad she don't have morning sickness. It isn't fun.
Yes this is very common, a lot of women dont experience any effects other than severe tiredness, and how lucky they are as i was sick everyday for 9 months i felt like i had a nine month sickness bug, so congrats and i hope everythink goes well and tell your wife to enjoy the pregnancy, i wish i could of.
its very common. Every woman doesn't get all of the normal early pregnancy symptoms. She's lucky that she hasn't had morning sickness or sore breasts, but as she gets further along, she may encounter some of these symptoms. Good Luck and Congratulations
Yes, I remember feeling really tired for no particular reason, and then at about 3 months - boom! lots of energy. My mother-in-law told me she had experienced the same thing.
You don't have to experience morning sickness, everyone is different - and a second pregnancy can be different for the same person.
With my first I was throwing up every day for nine months, with my second I didnt even know I was pregnant for three months!
the symptoms are wide, varied, and individual, could be anything from wanting to pee a lot, to a tinny taste in the mouth, bieng tired is a symptom, as hormones are flying about like madthings, crying for no apparent reason is also common, bieng a bit emotional, god the list is endless!

every woman has a different pregnancy some women look enormous others you cant tell they are pregnant some women have morning sickness others don't, if the doctors and midwifes are happy with her and the baby then just relax and enjoy the pregnancy it is an exciting time and you should be enjoying it not worrying about things that aren't important
I wouldn't complain. When I was pregnant with my daughter I was sick every day from day one - the last time I spewed was literally just before she was delivered. Same again with my son but I spewed over the midwife after he was delivered!!!!!!
I'm pretty sure that's perfectly normal. By 8 weeks pregnant women don't show those signs of pregnancy. They normally happen in the first month.
Lucky for her! I was sick for the first 22 weeks constantly day and night and tell her she is sooo lucky. It is still early days, things can change - so watch this space.
Every pregnancy is different, and tiredness is certainly a common complaint, especially in the first and the third trimester. Make sure she is eating healthy and is taking the right vitamin supplements as well as folic acid. I am pleased for you, it is a wonderful part of your life you are going through.
every woman is different but maybe get it checked out. they say if all your pregnancy symptoms go away then go to your doctor's but it's probably nothing congrats and good luck
