Why does baby poo smell less putrid than a maturer person's poo?
i've noticed it's a bit less harsh to the nostrils

are you kidding me.thats so not true its freakin worse then aldults..how long have you been dealing with it..wait til he gets about 1 and half 2 years old and its horrible..the more food they eat the worse it gets.
because they are not eating such rich food - no curry, red meat or lager etc
i dont know cos i dont make a habit of smelling peoples poo lol but id say its probly cos babys only eat liquids
Because babies haven't yet learned to put all the junk in their bodies that we adults do.
a baby is not on solids yet.... so digest faster and so less bacteria develop in their poo so smells less.
but if the baby has constipation (quite common in babies) or an upset tummy it can have an opposite effect.
you havent had a bad baby poo yet have you, my 18 month old Grandson did one the other day that had me running to toilet to throw up . :-((
you should meet my little brother! the stench of his crap may have something to do with him being the spawn of satan though! he was born in june (the 6th month) and dad called him DAMIAN after his brother! freaky!
because babies are not rotten on the inside yet like grown people.
Babies only drink milk. Once they start eating solids, it gets more stinky. If you breast feed an infant, their poop smells even less strongly than if you give formula. The reason is simple, adults eat so many unnatural unnecessary things each day that need to be disposed of. Babies use almost everything they eat, and what they eat is all natural, no preservatives or sweeteners.
u have never changed my nieces nappy then
I don't know. I've changed some pretty smelly diapers. It's due to that fact that babies aren't eating all of the different foods that adults eat though. Digestive process is less complex.
I'm not even going to ask how extensive your research was.
god you're lucky.my nephew's were phew indeed. i thought babies must eat napalm
because they aren't eating the same food as adults r.
Because their diet is totally different, and it's only a little bit at a time, where as an adults poo-there's usually a lot more of it. A babies tract will fill up and empty quickly, where an adults tract can be filled up more before having to expell.
Its cos its your own if you know what I mean!
I don't mind (don't paticulary like) my sons smelly poo but if another baby has a dirty nappy I think its RANK!
i take it the baby is on milk only oh just you wait till foods introduced hahaha (evil laugh) trust me v v nasty
Well that's obvious... coz they don't eat the foods we eat, they just drink/eat mild foods coz they are babies! Imagine givin a baby a spag bol or a curry lol their only little and still fragile..

Bending to the right or left means baby girls or boys?
