No, not at all. You are nesting. You'll know when you're going into labor. Your contractions are going to be intense, unlike any you have felt up to this point. The pain will be intensified and more frequent. When that day comes, you'll know. Trust me. And when that day does come, don't freak out. When you start getting contractions, time them. Track them. Track the length of contractions and how far apart. When they are five minutes or less apart for an hour, then it's time to go to the hospital.
Keep the nurses phone number on speed dial. Call her often during the start of labor. That's her job. She's there to help you. However, don't think that just because you start contractions that you have to go to the hospital this very second. They'll just end up sending you back home and your stuck with the bill.
Relax.
It's coming soon. What you want to do right now is "continue with your normal activities". Don't sit at home on the couch waiting for it to happen. Move around. Walk. Help your baby move down the canal. Don't let your baby do all the work.
Good luck.
Possibly or just that you cannot bear to be sitting around waiting for a minute longer.
Not really, its a stage that comes a week or 2 before.
ur cleaning as this is called nesting, getting the home ready for the baby

as for the back ache yes could be a sign or it could mean u have done to much cleaning,

i wish u all the luck in the world
it's a sign that you may need to sit down. and congratulation on your expected one
nesting is definitely a pre-labor symptom, but it doesn't mean that you are in labor. Nesting is just a good indicator that labor is around the corner.
Sounds as if it could be !! Good Luck xx
The back pain may well be a sign of labor.

Call whoever's been handling your prenatal care (obstetrician, midwife, etc.), just to be on the safe side.
Could be, when i felt like that i went for a bath then as soon as i was dressed i went for a walk. labour set in about 3 hours later!

Take it easy you need this time to yourself as i can assure you when your little bundle arrives you wont have a minute to clean!but you wont care either.
Well you are definitely "nesting" (I was up the ladder at 38 weeks cleaning all the cupboards!) and mild back ache is also a labour symptom, but this can last up to a couple of weeks before actual labour. Just continue like usual and if you have a show or your waters break call your midwife. If it is labour pains, then they will become more intense and at at a regular period - every 20 mins, then 15, then 10 and so on.

Good luck and all the best dear.
When the definate signs of labour are coming you will know..anything before that the odd ache, and that is all wishful thinking.

I found that with all my pregnancies (except the premature one) I found this bit the worse becuse you wake and go to bed thinking it may be the day. and all you are doing is literally waiting for your body to tell you 'Its time'
SOUNDS VERY MUCH LIKE IT TO ME
it depends, do u have pain with it? if not it could mean that labour is coming.
I've been cleaning like crazy for the past 3 weeks (my daughters laugh at me cuz I'm rarely seen without the bottle of windex in my hand!) . It is called "nesting" and can occur several weeks to days before the onset of labor. The back ache could be from all the cleaning! Seriously though, I know your anxious - I'm right there along with you (I am 39+2) . just keep telling yourself that "it will come" and I am being told we will KNOW when it's time! Best of luck to you & your little one!
wishful thinking id say
but i found lots of raw pineapple and hot spices helped (anything that overstimulates your bottom helps to brings on labour )
dont go there with the castor oil it tastes puk!(i was very desperate!)
also bounce around allday on a yoga ball it worked !
ive had 4 and they all were very differant
have fun
