Answers:
Stop worrying!! Expiry dates that just show a month mean the end of that month, so it will be the end of November .
how far gone?
most vacuum packed food with outlive it's sell by date, so wouldnt' really worry
if he shows signs of vomiting or diarrhoea then maybe get him checked
I am sure he will be just fine but I would bring the can and if you still have the receipt and tell them you just bought it and it was expired. That is a mistake and bad on their part for selling old stuff.Get a refund!
I just checked my HIPP jar, and there is a helpline number 08450501351 - don't know the hours of business though.
I am sure he will be fine
Your baby should be OK, he might have a runny tummy and if it consist, take him to a doctor. The expiry date on food is normally set a few days before the food really expires so that shops are covered for people suing them. If you are really unsure, give your local hospital a call and hear what they have to say.
I think he'll be fine but also, if I were you, I'd go back to the store where you bought it and complain. They shouldn't be selling food that is expired.
I agree with everyone above me who stated that your son will most likely be okay. I too would go back to the sotre with my jar and my receipt and raise h*ll!!! That is what their stockboys are paid for. to pull expired items from the shelf.
If the baby did not get sick then you're okay, but make sure you check the dates.
It happened to my neighbor before. Actually A month expired!!The baby was fine!No worrys.
Its ok so don't worry. Its pumped so full of additives and preservitives it would probably survive a nuclear bomb!
Wasn't smelling weird? Are you sure? Its pre packed baby gunk that I wouldn't feed a dog - it always smells weird!
Try cooking your own food - better for him and cheaper!
I always judge Best Before Dates, and how much you have gone over, as a % of the total shelf life.
For example diary products have a short shelf life, so would not use after the date.
Tins/Jars have a long shelf life, so would be happy to go about a month over.
I know for a fact, from going to Cadburies World that Chocolate has a shelf life of 18 months, but have to by law have a BBD of 1 year. Never throw out chocolate if it is under 6 months over the BBD.
Your baby will be fine dont worry about it ..

you should try cooking for your baby then this wont happen again how old is your son because by 9 months my children were eating what we were eating they are now all very good eats and will eat anything
your baby will be fine, but did you keep the jar, if you did i would take back to the shop, they should have least have been reduced ( we do in our shop), even more so because its baby food, its got the end of nov on it so yes you can use it up to that date, but would you have bought it knowing that the date was coming up, i wouldnt have so i would look into making a complaint

I need a unique funky name for my first born. Not sure of the gender yet,any suggestions please!?
