What are the chances of getting pregnant straight after miscarriage?
Hi all I don't want to hear why I should wait and what your doctors said. My partner and I feel like we are ready and our doctor has given us the all clear to start again. I just want to know, what is the % chance of getting pregnant straight after a m/c with out getting your period yet? How many of you have experienced this? When should I do a HPT?

i had a miscarriage at 16 weeks. a month later i got pregnant again with my son. hes 8 now and perfect. beautiful, smart, healthy and i had a healthy and fullterm pregnancy. good luck!
Be careful, I had a miscarriage and got pregnant right away, I lost that one too. Your body needs about three months to heal up. You probably get pregnant very, very easily if you normally get pregnant easily.
I know you said you do not want to hear it , but your going to anyways. It is very important to your body and your children, to wait for almost a year . Your body needs time to heal. If you keep on getting pregnant right after every miscarriage, you have a very good chance of more miscarriages. So save yourself the pain , and wait. Good luck , after you wait !!
The same chances you have after having a baby strong chances
Sometimes right away but before you do get checked out first
Hi I fell the month after a miscarriage without even realising. I don't think theres a right or wrong time. It was a wonderful suprise for me after what I had been through. Go for it.
If your body has recovered, quite easily. Good luck.
first of all, so sorry you lost your bubba, but im glad you feel ready to try again, its very difficult and emotional.
If your doctor said you are ready to start trying, go for it, I dont think anyone can give you a % on getting pregnant again, its just so different with everyone. Ive had friends who have been through this, and the best thing is to try hard not to stress yourself about it.
I know thats hard, and you are goign to worry anyway, so you have to promise me that you will take some time out a couple of times a week for something relaxing. A massage from your partner, warm bubble bath with candles, whatever helps you to chill, cos the more you stress the longer its gonna take.
so make sure you unwind and have some relax time to yourself.
I wish you both all the best.

Depends how often you ****.
Anything is possible. Some of women ovulate directly after a miscarrige, but then again, some dont. Alot of people will tell you that you are your most fertile right after a miscarriage and right after coming off the pill.
Theres no way of knowing if your fertile without knowing if you've ovulated.
I would say just have sex and see what happens. Sex results in babies, so just relax and enjoying the physical and emotional connection with your husband. Everything else will follow.
If you are able to avoid what caused your last miscarriage, be is sickness or stress, you should.
I can't believe you're still getting lectures! If you are ready then go for it! I had my second child just 11 months after my first - yes, I got pregnant again straight away and it was totally planned that way (I got lectures too!). There's every possibility you'll get pregnant quickly. I hope so, if that's what you want.
Good luck x
Well, I went straight off the pill. Got pregnant right away. Had a miscarriage at 6 weeks. Got pregnant again. I'm now 5 weeks. I waited until 2 days ago to take the test and it was positive.
the chances of getting pregnant after a miscarriage can be different to all women i found that after my miscarriage that i was adviced to wait two months before trying again for another child if that is what i wanted as some women wait after this ordeal i found that i wanted to try and not wait i lost mine july 27th last year and tried again am now due to give birth 20th september and everything is fine just dreading the labour follow your heart and decided are you really ready i did not receive a period afterwards
I had a miscarriage last year in November. Docs said I need at least 3mths for my body to recover. They said I would bleed first month after the op (like a period) and then my period will come normally. It is like after a pregancy when your period would come when ready.
Just to advise I got pregnant that same month and am due anytime now.
I was shocked but an unexpected surprise- it all depends on your body so don't give up hope if it happens it happens.
Good luck
I had two miscarriages. I was advised both times to have one period before trying again, which i did and got pregnant the next month.
Not sure if the 'wait one year' advice is right, as I asked the doctors this, and they said waiting one period after miscarriage was fine. I had a D&C with my second miscarriage, and was told the same thing. Had the op in the Feb and got pregnant in April.
Waiting one year is usually the advice they give you after giving birth.
I am now 22 weeks pregnant, so good luck!!
