How do i keep socks on my 9 month baby?!!!!!!?
Answers:
this is one of the fun parts.when mine were this age i spent ages putting socks on them after they pulled them off..i made a game of it..telling them off and tickling them on the feet..great fun enjoy it while it lasts..EVENTUALLY they will stay on..
Pull a MacGuyver and use some duct tape.
Somebody once suggested Duct Tape, but I'm sure social services would have something to say about that. I have a 6 month old boy who has just discovered that if he pulls, they come off and mummy runs back to put them on. He thinks it's a great game to play!
i know it sounds strange but i used to worry about my young son taking his socks of in the winter so i brought a load of navy tights that solved my problem x
staples!
use super glue
Put shoes on him/her.
try tights/ pantyhose. My son wore them instead of socks under his trousers for the first 18 months. not in the hotter weather but then you don't need to worry about socks either!
put shoes on top of them..
some sort of hypo-allergenic double-sided tape around the inside top?
Either give up or put their shoes on. My boy takes his shoes off then the socks, so it's a bit of a losing battle i'm afaid.
Its impossible!
This is always a tough one as their feet are so delicate, again as mentioned previously I used to buy tights for my little one as they were impossible for her to kick off. Botties help as they are that little bit more difficult. Pull the sock right up (get long ones) and pull them up over the clothing the friction between the two materials made them harder to get off and tended to slow her down. If not go back to all in one coat, they were great in winter and kept them warm made them much easier to pick up, didn't matter what you dressed them in as they were always snug and no sock removal. One suit, suits all occasions much cheaper than buying loads of outfits. Invest..
impossible. socks are tasty and good for chewing, perfectly with in reach of chubby hands, they will soon be soaking wet from the chewing so are better off anyway.
babies don't need socks in a warm house. and tights out doors wont show under trousers if it as a baby boy
You can make a kind of suspender belt, of weak elastic, to go round the back, the top of the nappy can will hold it up. Press-stud clip to top of socks.
Tights option is best. If it is cold enough for socks then the tights will keep it toasty.
That's a hard one perhaps shoes might help.!!
i agree with what some 1 else said, tights should do the trick if u put dem unda trousers!! but obviously if its hot, DONT the poor little thing will be roasting lol! also, u could put those baby shoes on, the ones that look lyk slippers
make him wear a pair of socks and give another pair in his hands so that he can play with it!!!
Awww how cute! I am not sure what is best to do; perhaps buy some little tights which will stay on? Other than that I am not sure what to suggest!
LOL! You don't hon. baby's are genius at getting them off.
haha!thanx that made me smile i think it is impossibe cos they look at it as a game adorable little blighters!hats r another thing, my daughter flat out refusd to keep a hat on used to drive me mad which she found hilarious
Just keep on keeping them on.
dont even bother trying! i wouldnt keep socks or shoes on as a baby and earned the nickname Patsy Podsoff!! I still dont like anything on my feet!
I had the same problem with my son, and I am starting to have it with my daughter (5 months old now). I used to use safety diaper pins (the ones with the plastic tops) on the back of the sock to pin it to the leg of his pants, if you pin it just right, they cannot pull the sock completely off. Just be very careful when pinning the socks. I got good at knowing where on the pant leg to pin it, and could pin them on before putting the clothes on, and just put the sock on before pulling the pants all the way up. I was also a sneaky mom, and put sleepers or pajamas with feet in them on over the socks, and he could not get them off. If you live in a cold climate, you can try using a thin pajama with feet in it as a layer under clothing.
glue them on or paint a pair on
Buy some tights. You cant tell the difference when worn under long trousers. If it is really cold, put the socks under the tights. You could also put shoes on your baby. Takes them a bit longer then to get it all off.
Hope this helps you.cheers.
tights, they also hold the vest down and the poop in!
Glue them or use some tape..there is no different way..:-)the babies are thinking that is very very funny.so good luck!
My son takes them off straight away! Lucky its summer so it doesn't matter and by the time winter is here he will be wearing proper shoes - hopefully he won't take them off!!
If its warm just let him sit with none on, it won't harm him!
Try Robeez shoes, they are soft and comfortable. Target has its own brand as well.
