try public assitince but i would go to the labor board and tell them or tell your dad that you will get a laywer if he does not do something because by law they have to put every one on the books or the books are cooked if you know what i mean

So you can recieve the prenatal care you and the baby need. There are diffrent agencies that can help you get the things you will need for the baby, but they vary from state to state. What you could do is call a local church and they probably will know some places to help you out and may ablee to provide some family counsiling. Good luck and I hope you and your father can work this out. After all he is going to be this babys granfather and he should love you and the baby no matter what. Give him time he will come around.
If you haven't been paying NI/ Tax, I don't think you are entitled to maternity pay. You need to get another job soon to qualify, either through the employer, or direct from the social - this is once you start paying the above mentioned. In any case, you are not entitled to any payment until the 11th week before you are due to give birth, for 26 weeks. Once you are in employment, this will amount to (first 6 weeks of maternity pay), 90% of your salary (monthly), and after that £108 per week flat pay, for 20 weeks. Also free dental treatment up until the baby is 12 months old. Prescription is free also whilst pregnant.
