The doctor should have done a pregnancy test right there to let you know. Other than that he would have told you to go home and they would call you with the test results.
Blood in urine could mean you have an infection of some kind. The doctor would have to send it to the lab to find out what is is for sure.

Blood in your urine (Haematuria) is not a sign of pregnancy.
It can be caused by a bladder infection, or may be a sign that there's a problem with your kidneys.
The doctor will probably do blood test to determine what's causing it.
doctors always assume that a woman of child bearing age is pregnant unitl proven otherwise, so if they had a urine sample, it should've been tested. you could try calling your doctor to see what the result was (or if they ran a pregnancy test)

Hi. I have recurrent kidney problems and each time I go and have a urine test, they find blood. It could be any sort of urinary infection or a sign you have kidney stones. I would have asked at the time what this meant. You need to go back to your doctor and have him/her explain the results. Doctors are not to be feared, they get paid enough and they are there to help.
your are not preg. But u could have serious illness or an organ failure! which would need medical advice straight away!
