What is happening, am I irregular or miscarrying?

My cycle is normally 28 -30 days, never more or less. Last month we were trying to get pregnant and my period didn't arrive on time. I was very tired, and my breasts hurt, though they do sometimes before a period too. Then after 35 days I had a period. Seems a little heavier than normal, but not too much. What is happening?

Honestly.it could be either. You may have been pregnant, and it just didn't implant. You may just have had a long cycle. Either way, it doesn't matter now. Keep doing what you normally do..and Im sure you'll get pregnant and have a healthy baby soon. Good luck.
contraceptive pills keep periods regular - so if you have just stopped it after a number of years then your periods will be all over the place. sometimes antibiotics and medications make a difference to periods as well.
U hav to consult gynacologist.
It maybe that you almost had what you were working for but, something went wrong maybe the sperm was'nt able to break through to you're egg. It takes up to three days for that process if the sperm was'nt successful then the egg came dowm for menstrial. Take some time off and try again two week from last period thats when you're most fertal
try not to thing abut what happened now. you can never be certain and don't stress yourself to see what happened. think about next month. you can try again.
Good luck
Hi,
Even i had the same problem. I was too much worried about getting pregnant and my periods became irregular all of a sudden. So, relax!.
There is a chance that you had a very early miscarriage.
You could be having a miscarriage. Up to 30% of pergnances end is miscarriage. I would go and see you doctor as you will need a scan to make sure that everything is ok.
If you were on any kind of contraceptive pill then stopping could make your period irregular, But It is possible that you could have had an early miscarriage, its best not to dwell on it now, but if you are still worried then make an appointment to see your GP.
Good Luck XxX
