You generally aren't *fertile* after a miscarriage. You can become fertile anywhere between the first and third months though so if having a child is not in your plans use birth control.
Miscarriage is not like having a period, so fertility plays no part in it hon.
I would say to not have sex until you have a real period and then go from there.
