Being sleepy is just a symptom that goes along with pregnancy. It is very normal and needs to be accepted as part of the process. 5 - 7 hours of sleep is not enough when you are pregnant; and your body is telling you that. You need to get a couple of hours a night more sleep, and ideally be able to take a nap mid day. Try taking a nap at lunch and see if this helps along with going to bed earlier at night.
Have your baby
your body needs more rest when you are pregnant, don't worry it should pass by your 3rd trimester, at least it did for me.
Your going to feel sleepy. Your body is going through a lot. Taking naps would be good for you, if you can fit it in your schedule. Your work should be understanding about being sleepy, I mean, you could have just formed a complete kidney today, who knows.
What works for me is occasionally snacking on an apple or other piece of fruit to give me a little energy boost if I'm out and about. Other than that, I'm not sure. Luckily I'm in a position where I an nap just about any time I want. Hurray for us March mommies!
Your body is busy making a baby, it's working hard. You need to give it as much rest as possible. Pregnancy is a fun time because you need the most rest, but your body and baby keep you up at night. I guess it's just getting you ready for what it will be like when you have the baby.
probably just normal
Have you considered an abortion?
Try to get more sleep during the night. And when you get home from work try taking a nap.. I'm 18 weeks pregnant and this works for me.
Speak to your doctor about iron supplements. I'm 33 weeks pregnant and after having some blood tests done it turned out I was iron deficient. I was sleepy all the time too. Pain in the bum isn't it!
you probably need folic acid our maybe your to far on for that keep the sugar levels up and eat plenty
This is normal. When you're pregnant you get more sleepier and you need to rest alot more. Try going to sleep early so you can get more rest.
When you get in from work have a little nap, or get to be by 9pm. You need at least 8 hours sleep when pregnant.

Trust me take it now, cos when the baby come you will not get the chance.

Best of luck.
Make sure u have atleast 8 hrs of sleep daily. Also you will have bouts of nausea following this sleepiness
Recommend pregnant ladies get 8-9 hours sleep every day, take a nap when you get home from work
you need more sleep now, so rest more
Im 29 weeks and still sleepy alot, I have a toddler who is up a few times in the night and has just dropped his daytime nap though! If I ever get a chance for 20mins catnap I take it. That seems to perk me up, sometimes when ive just put him to bed etc. Or try and get to bed earlier with a bath and a milky drink. Belive me, I thought I was tired with my first as I worked long hours until my due date, but nothing prepared me for the total exhaustion of having a newborn. I think our bodies do it to prepare us! Thats why its so hard to sleep at night when pregnant.
you need at least 8hours each night
I am the same aswell and i am only in the early stages i feel tired constantly you would think being pregnant is enough to cope with wouldnt you
