I'm 11 weeks pregnant and had scan at 8 weeks and all good.Is that a good sign in the first 3 months?

i had a scan at 7 weeks and there was a good heart beat and everything was good,i am now waiting to have my 20week scan in bout 10days time,so hopefully i will know if everythings alright then!!
but its totally normal to worrie,this is my 1st and i don't think i'v stopped worrying yet,as i want everything to be ok!!

Well, it is enough to determine that you probably have the start of a healthy pregnancy. By this time, they can see if a brain has developed, determine if there was a healthy implantation and see arm and leg buds. It's not enough to determine if you will carry to term although if you make it past the first 3 months your chances are very good. At this point, it's not enough to tell about genetic defects or make any determination on if specific organs are going to develop properly. Take your FOLIC ACID and a good prenatal vitamin with iron and get plenty of calcium. DHA is also a good supplement. Drink lots of water.
