Still getting symptoms?
Ok - its now 5 1/2 weeks after possible conception and 8 1/2 weeks since last period (i take 3 packs of 21 microgynon 30 and then take 7 day break due to painful periods). I took a preg test 2 weeks after sex and then another 4 weeks after, both negative. The stomach twinges seemed to have died down now, get the odd one here&there still though, but better than they were. Im still getting heartburn-got it last night just after i had got into bed. Feeling qeasy occasionally, still feeling like my period is going to start but not so many cramps. Getting headaches&excess saliva in my mouth yesterday&today. Also gettin movement like feeling in my tummy but that wouldnt be a baby as it would be too early yet. Not as tired as i was either. My boobs are hard&slightly tender&white dots(don’t know how else to describe them, they look mottled some are round, some are oblong&they area on the edge of the nipple&the odd 1 or 2 dotted around the aerola or whatever its called). Could i be pregnant?
Answers:
no ure having a phantom pregnancy,.
with my first i had to have 6 pregnancy tests before it came up positive so i would carry on taking them if you are convinced you could be pregnant but some of the symptoms you are feeling could be off the pill. but i don't think you would be feeling the baby move if it is your first just yet. good luck any way i hope it turns out the way you want.
get a blood test from your doc, if that is negative, then you aren't..
If you think theres a possibility of you being pregnant then you should be seeking professional medical advice.. not asking ppl on yahoo.. imo
If you think youre pregnant.stop taking any Rx, ok? Go see your physician. The stomach problems along with the salivating could be one thing and the breast tenderness could be another and not related or they could be part of the same ailment or possible pregnancy or symptoms caused by your Rx. Please go see a physician hun. In the meantime drink lots of water.
I would go to the doctor, this could be anything, and if you are pregnant its best that the doctor checks everything is ok in your body, like blood pressure, and general health for having a baby!
You've asked a lot of questions about this. If you are worried consult your doctor and then stop worrying.
you really should go and see your doctor some of the symptoms you descibe dont sound like pregnacy to me and others i would not expect to be so early on in pregnancy
if you are pregnant you need to see your doctor anyway to sort out pregnancy care midwife scans ect
if you are not pregnant you need to find out what is causing these symptoms
Use of contraceptives, and then discontinuation, brings about such kind of feelings. It happened to me when I discontinued the contraceptives. I had all the symptoms and the lutearal phase was long, but a negative test. My doc told me it was due to the contraceptives. It went on for about six months, with each month thinking I am pregnant. After I gave up following what was happening, it went. But now I tested positive and I can see that the signs are different from what I used to feel in those six months. I think it gets worse when you actually want to be pregnant. :)
the only sure way to tell you are pregnant is the pregnacy test although i do not know if the medication you are taking could affect the results.if you have taken antibiotics this can lead to pregnacy whilst taking the pill.there are many reasons why your period has not arrived.the first pregnacy test was too early to detect the pregnancy hormones.if you think you are pregnant then you should not be taking the pill.two and a half months is very early it could well be the pill that is the problem.
You could be suffering from irritable bowel syndrome or IBS as its also known. Symptoms of this include bloating, heartburn, nausea. The twinges you are feeling could be mild stomach cramps and the movements you are feeling could be due to trapped wind. Taking 3 packs of microgynon without a break can delay your period even if you have never experienced this before. My friend took 3 packs without a break and it was almost 12 weeks before she got a period. The breast tenderness could be your body getting ready for your period. I imagine not having a period for as long as you have could cause water retention too (bloating)
My best advice is go and see your doctor. They would run a blood test to see if you are pregnant. If you are not then they will look at your other symptoms and make a diagnosis from there once they have ruled out the possibility of pregnancy.
just go see a doctor!..
if you think you are even remotely pregnant you shouldn't take any more pills as they can harm the baby - hormone overload or something. if I were you i would hotfoot it down to the doctors as you are putting up a good description of someone who is pregnant.
maybe you should go and see your gp rather than getting conflicting answers on here
You really need to go see your gynecologist and find out what's happening with your body. Get off of the internet, and onto the phone as soon as possible. If you're pregnant, you need to get off of the pills right away!
one of my children they thought i was having an ectopic pregnancy because i did not have a perod 4 three months and i had pain. and there was nothing on a scan so they done a laperoscopy which is when the insert a camera through your bellybutton and look inside you under anaesthetic, still nothing i went back for a scan 2 weeks later and i was 13 wks pregnant so don't go of what tests say go to the doctors and get a blood test.
If I were you I would go to the doctors and ask them to test you. Although a lot of your symptoms can be pregnancy related you are feeling a lot of them far too early. Things like movement and heartburn don't normally happen this early in pregnancy. Either way your doctor is the only one who can advise you properly.
Why not go and see your doctor and tell him all this do you really need to come on here and describe in detail what your symptoms are and how your boobs feel , dont think we all appreciate it to be honest
I'm sorry that everyone is being rude to you. Yes, you COULD be pregnant. How long or regular was your last period? Those white bumps can come at 8 weeks, but some girls who have never been pregnant have them too. Your last period may not have been a period at all, but it could have been implantation bleeding. I've heard other people say that you get "one last period?" I haven't seen it on any medical sites. So you may be further along than you think, which would explain the advanced pregnancy symptoms. As far as not getting a positive, I'm still trying to figure that one out on my own.
Do you want to be pregnant? It could be that you want it so bad, that your mind is making your body act like it's pregnant. Sometimes people feel more pregnant when they think they're pregnant but not than when they're actually pregnant.
I think that you should go to the doctor to relieve stress and stop taking the pills because if you are you would not want to be taking them. Just relax and talk to your doctor.
YOU NEED TO GO TO THE DOCTOR, AND DESCRIBE WHAT YOU JUST DESCRIBED IN THIS QUESTION, ONLY A DOCTOR CAN TELL YOU FOR SURE.
I had the same problem last year, you could be pregnant, best to go to the doctor, if it comes back negative make sure that you push ur GP to do further test, and dont take no for an answer until u have a diagnosis, or the symptoms stop!
It turned out that I had polycycstic overies.
Hope it all goes well!
Let me know what it turn out is!
do a blood tests
OK I would sure go to the doctor and be seen. This happened to me. Not enough estrogen in the urine for the (piss) test to show positive. So go to the doc and have them do a blood test. You should do this as soon as possible because if in fact u r pregnant then you will need to quit the birth control asap because it can cause birth defects. Also take some Zinc that will help till you can see a doc with the birth defects and also take some Folic Acid too that will help with birth defects.Good luck and if I can be of assistant to you any more just email me at argrl29f@yahoo.com GOOD LUCK
Maybe you should go to a doctor
You can be pregnant, even if you have a period. Stop taking meds, may cause deformity if you are pregnant. Go to the doctor and tell him everything you have told us.
Take care and congratulations if you are pregnant.
If you are not pregnant, the doctor can tell you what is wrong. Tell him to do complete work up.
I think that you may need a blood test and than you'll know for sure if you are or not, as this counts the hormone levels in your blood, also you should see your GP, they will give you all the advise you need. Try not to worry too much cause that in itself could effect your cycle. Your body might just be having a wild moment, I once missed six periods! I was not pregnant but the thought did cross my mind and I was edgy so I know how that feels. Good luck. Mermaid
