Why do things break down in 3s?

wqhy have you asked this 3 time?? :(
Because it sounds good and design experts do place objects in odd numbers like 3s for the more appealing visual effect.
In my experience it doesn't - if bad things happen twice you start looking for the third and even if its not related to you you will always find something bad has happened that you can relate to - IE your car breaks down - your washing machine floods both in the same day - you start thinking what else is going to go wrong - your partner comes in and says he has a migraine.
The first two problems are yours because you lived them - the third your partners is his first but because you look for the three you take it on board as your problem.
