-1/ -5 mutiplied -5 + ( 7 - 9 ) + 11 to the 2nd power = 124 right?
0.2 X -5 + ( -2 ) + 121
-1 + -2 + 121
3 + 121 = 124
so that is what i got am i right if not tell me what i did wrong
Answers:
-1+-2 = -3
So, 121-3 = 118
I get -1-2+11^2 = -3+121 = 118
Im not sure if I get you right but,
0.2 X -5 + ( -2 ) + 121 is OK
-1 + -2 + 121 is OK
3 + 121 = 124 in not .it should be
-3 + 121 = 118 because -1 + -2 is -3.
(-1)/(-5)*(-5)+7-9+11^2
\_________/ \__/ \__/
....|.....|....
-1 + -2 + 121=118
and making it your way:
-1/-5 X -5 + ( 7 - 9 ) + 11 ^ 2
0.2 X -5 + ( -2 ) + 121
-1 + -2 + 121
-3 + 121 = 118
no
1/5 x -5 + (-2) + 121
-1-2+121= 118
Last stage:
-3 + 121 = 118
The answer is 118.
The solution is stated below:
= -1/-5 (-5) + (-2) + 11^2
= (-1) + (-2) + 121
= -1 -2 + 121
= 118
Sorry, your are wrong.
Here is the solution:
let x = (-1/-5)(-5)+(7-9)+11^2
x = (1/5)(-5)+(-2)+121
x = -1-2+121
x = -3+121
x = 118
no.. the answer is 118
-1+-2 = -3
and then -3+121 = 118
-1 +-2 is -3
-3 +121 is NOT 124 but 118
Gosh, this is really back to school.
Think where you went wrong was you mistake the signs conversion of x (multiply) and + (add) in "-1 + -2" which equals
-3 and not +3.
When you multiply - (negative) with - (negative), you get +(positive) but when you ADD negative with negative, you still get - (NEGATIVE).
-1/-5 X -5 + ( 7 - 9 ) + 11 ^ 2
0.2 X -5 + ( -2 ) + 121
-1 + -2 + 121
3 + 121 = 124 no
-1-2 =-3 >>>>>>>>>>>121-3=118
you are not right.
What you did wrong is -1+ -2= -3 not +3 your answer will then be 118
-1/-5 X -5 + ( 7 - 9 ) + 11 ^ 2
= 0.2 X -5 + ( -2 ) + 121
= - 1 - 2 + 121
= - 3 + 121
= 118
