My 2nd theory on space travel?
Ok my 1st theory was to create a shield of anti-gravity and use ion engines, use the anit-gravity to break the earths atmosphere and then use ion engines to travel in space. My 2nd theory, What 'if' we could build a shield which has a greater force than gravity, theortically it could 'push' gravity away.

technically u have some ideas going on, what u failed to know is the speed needed to do space travel, unless u wanna only travel slightly faster than the sound.. and thats not enough! but then travelling at light speed means, disintergreting anything and everything and then reaching to the required distance and falling back into the same positon. its like throwing ur fixed jigsaw picture across ur room and expecting them to land on ur floor without all of them in the right place.. get it?

No such thing. When you'll die you'll travel in space to heaven or hell
I've got a headache now!
Like the idea! Made me think. Would it create a worm/black hole, or would it just cause an implosion.interesting.will have to think of this one for a while..
If you could build a device that generates a massive gravity field large enough to compress space itself then you would simply have to place a space craft near to the device while it is switched off. When you turn it on space would become compressed (ignoring the fact that the ship would be compressed also.. would need a way to counteract the effect of the device on the craft) then all said craft would have to do is travel a relatively short distance form the device where upon the device would be switched off, space expands back to normal & your craft along with it. Thus moving the craft to another point in space without actually travelling any great distance.
If you ignore the massive flaws its a pretty good idea...
I'm intrigued whats your 3rd theory
