Have you compared the climate change this year and the past years here in U.K.?
We got our datas regarding Greenland Ice from Nasa report and our temperature comparison from BBs News and other source of informations.Definitely no doubt that this year is the hottest year in U.K. and the hottest September. That is what we believe and observe. I believe the documentary film of Al Gore let alone the government support for Global Change.
We believers of Global Change might be wrong but nothing wrong for us to take necessary steps to save the earth.
I respect the opinion of others specially those that do not believe and very opinionated.
Thank you all for your reply

The Met office keep lots of statistics which are available on their website www.metoffice.gov.uk start by looking there.
The issue of global warming is not the immediate temperature change but the dramatic effect the CO2 will have in a few years time if CO2 levels are allowed to get to critical levels.
I haven't personally compared year on year data, but there are many people who have.
Possibly most notable is the revered botanist, David Bellamy. He recently (since 2004) changed his views of man-made global warming and observed that there are centuries long cycles of warmth and cold. As part of a more detailed examination, he noted that in Roman Britain vines were cultivated as far North as Yorkshire. He concluded that the natural cycles of the world have a far greater effect on the climate than mankind.
That is not to say that we should not clean up our act and reduce polution, just that the reason for doing so is to make the world a nicer place to live in.
"The Science of Discworld" by Terry Pratchett, Ian Stewart & Jack Cohen offers an entertaining view of that concept.
