How does an aeroplane generate alternating current?
Answers:
On the ground - there are power lines fed directly to the AEROPLANE, and also battery backup.
When the AEROPLANE engines are running, they provide not only thrust for forward motion but also drive small alternators / generators.
In an absolute emergency a small wind turbine can be deployed from inside the fuselage for cabin power.
Any AC power is NOT distributed directly, but converted to a stable DC system. It is then 'inverted' to a synthetic AC at the required voltage to feed any AC systems.
By HAndles! And also thats not how you spell an airplane! ;) ITS OKEY !
Does it? I didn't know. If it does, I assume it uses an in-line (with the engine shaft) alternator like a car but without the diodes.
By the way. Ignore the ignoramus who doesn't know that we English spell aeroplane just like that. We also spell OKAY, not Okey.
They have generators - just like in a power station, only smaller, driven by their engines.
And that is how you spell aeroplane. If you Americans will insist on using YA UK & Ireland, you've got to put up with our spelling. Actually, it's our language, too.
Aeroplane, aeroplane, aeroplane!
by using a transformer i.e an alternator .
thought that's what the propeller was for
Hamster-Powered Night Light
With Custom Low-RPM Alternator
------------------------------.
Though Skippy the Hamster powers this night light by running on his excercise wheel, the same concepts and low-rpm alternator design could be applied to a school science project using different energy sources! A small wind or hydro turbine could easily power this alternator.
alternators use a Wheatstone bridge.
They gather up all the bisexual and gay male cabin crew, called Julian,Justin,,Horatio, and Nigel and one of them puts the live wire feed into his butt and then they all holds hands,,but the Captain does not like them doing this too often as it interferes with the inflight movie and the aircraft navigation
Generators are attached to the engines, generating 400 Hz AC..
it uses the physical motion same as everywhere else
Use the original power source to generate A.C.
Use a converter on DC to make into Half Wave A.C.
