What is the distance of the widest part across England and Wales?

best ans for 1st correct ans.

Answers:
Depends exactly how you define widest but taking the Suffolk coastal town of Lowestoft as the most easterly part of the English coastline and St David's Head as the westernmost point in mainland Wales, its about 482km or 301 miles
The AA route finder says St Davids to Great Yarmouth is 397.3 miles by road. As the crow flies it is 309 miles. Can I have my 10 points please
