Normally achieved by heating, say sunflower oil. The first 'fractions' are very thin & runny - the last ones are more like sludge.
I believe that fractionated oil is achieved by removing the saturated fat from the vegetable oil.
This will prevent the oil from becoming solid at low temperatures.
I believe this will be more relevant to palm oil than others.
