Heres a maths question for you?

the results of a companys study shows that it sells its product to 58% of all people who make telephone enquiries to them.

1. What is the percentage of enquiries where no sale is made
2. If in a month 2800 enquiries are made, how many sales would the company expect to make?

Answers:
1. 100-58 =42%
2. 0.58 * 2800 =1624
Mr. Madison, what you've just said is one of the most insanely idiotic things I have ever heard. At no point in your rambling, incoherent response were you even close to anything that could be considered a rational thought. Everyone in this room is now dumber for having listened to it. I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul.
1. 42%
2. 2800 * .58 = 1624
1624 sales? Mind u i did only get a grade D gcse lol
42% and 1624. Is my brain still working properly?
1. 42% = no sale
2. 2800 X 58% = 1624 sales
1. 42%

2. 1624
42%
1624 sales
1) 100% includes all inquiries made. 58% get a sale, the rest do not. How much is left when you subtract?
2) if 2800 is 100% (all) how much is 58% of 2800? You can see that 100% is the same as multiplying by 1.00, so 58% is the same as multiplying by 0.58. Go for it.
No sale = 100 - 58 = 42

Total sales = 2800 * 58/100 = 1624
1. 100-58 =42%
2. 0.58 * 2800 =1624
Tom, it made perfect sense to me. I guess you must have trouble reading : )

I won't bother answering since lots have already.
DO YOUR OWN HOMEWORK YOU LAZY COW.

this is probably the reason GCSE's are getting easier, to make sure idiots like this girl pass
100-58=42
58%=2800
1% =2800*58/100
=1624
