How do u convert Fahrenheit to degree?

please show the formula aswell. it'll really help

Answers:
°C = (°F − 32) / 1.8

°F = °C × 1.8 + 32
You bet!

Centigrade to Fahrenheit
F=C(9/5)+32

Fahrenheit to Centigrade
C=(F-32)(5/9)

Centigrade to Kelvin ?
K=C+ 273.15

Rankine to Fahrenheit?
R=F + 459.67

For more conversions please see reference below

If you wonder how the conversion between Fahrenheit and Centigrade are derived consider that a column of liquid, be it mercury or alcohol, will expand equally for the same amount of heat regardless of which scale we use. We know that water freezes at 32 degrees Fahrenheit and 0 degrees Centigrade (or Celsius look this interesting reference up http://www.sizes.com/units/temperature_c. ). We also know that water boils at 212 degrees Fahrenheit and 100 degrees Centigrade. That allows us to say that we have 212-32 degrees of Fahrenheit in the same column of liquid as we have 100-0 degrees Centigrade. Then the proportion between Centigrade and Fahrenheit is (212-32)/(100-0)=180/100=9/5. Then we can say in general that

N (degrees Centigrade - 0 degrees Centigrade)= M (degrees Fahrenheit - 32 degrees Fahrenheit)
Or
N degrees Centigrade = M (degrees Fahrenheit – 32)
degrees Centigrade=M/N (degrees Fahrenheit – 32)
where M/N is 5/9

So we degrees Centigrade=5/9 (degrees Fahrenheit – 32)
Similarly we can show that
degrees Fahrenheit =9/5 Centigrade degrees + 32
c = (F-32)*5/9
I'm assuming you want to go to degrees celcius? If so,

C = F*5/9 - 32
This question does not make sense. Fahrenheit is measured in degress already.

Celcius to Fahrenheit => F = 9/5*C+32

Fahrenheit to Celcius => C = (F-32)*5/9
Use this link.

http://www.wbuf.noaa.gov/tempfc.htm.
Also fahrenheit is also measured in degrees so I'm presuming you mean celsius degrees
farenheit is already degrees

degrees farenheit

to convert degrees farenheit to degrees centigrade use the formula:

(F-32)/1.8=C

to convert degrees centigrade to degrees farenheit use the formula:

1.8*C+32=F

go for it
212 F=100 C
32 F =0 C

So
212-32=180 F interval =100 C interval

C=1,8 F+32
To cahnge fahrenheit to celcius:

(F-32) x 5/9 = C

F = temp in fahrenheit
C = temp in celcius
Fahrenheit is already measured in degrees.
Centigrade scale has 0 deg to 100 deg corresponding to frozen water and boiling water.
Fahrenheit scale starts at 32 and ends at 212. It has 180 graduations again to correspond to frozen boiling water.
So the equivalence can be got from the formula
100Deg Centigrade=180 deg Fahrenheit. and make correction for start of scale.
[Deg Fahrenheit-32](100/180)= Deg centigrade
(F-32)*5/9=Deg C
F to C: 5/9(F-32)=C

C to F: 9/5C + 32 = F

Fahrenheit
Centigrade or Celsius
the general formula is

C=5/9(F-32)

where C is degrees in Centigarde and F is degress in Fahrenheit

we know that the boiling point of water is 212 degrees F

converting ,we have

C=5/9(212-32) =100 degrees C

so,212 degrees F =100 degrees C
