?Can someone plese help me with this? It quite basic i think!?
Answers:
(1+3x+9xsquared)(1-3x)
= 1*(1+3x+9x^2)
-3x(1+3x+9x^2)
=1+3x+9x^2-3x-9x^2-27x^3
=1-27x^3
therefore,
(1+3x+9xsquared)(1-3x)
=(1-27x^3)
i hope that this helps

I will go along with 39,but i never liked algebra any way.
Hey there,
this is what I think it is, its been a few years, but this is how I would do it. Hope this helps
1 + 3x + 9x2(sq) -3x -2 – 27x3(cubed) =
-1 + 9x2 (sq) - 27x3 (cubed) =
1 - 9x2 (9 squarede) + 27x3 (3 cubed)
well i am really not sure so you better check! but is it
2+3x+21x²+27x³
i am not sure as i am only in year 11 and i have not learnt how to do these equation yet! hope i guessed right!?! xxxx
84x + 1 (9x squared = 81x + 3x)
times by
1 - 3x
(ignore the 1 -)
252x + 1 -1 =252x
i think, been a long time since i did this. lol
39? :)
(1-3x)+(3x-9x^2)+(9x^2-9x^3)
aww man.. i have no idea.. hehe
1-27x cubed (richardal.answer is write, that's the correct solution for the answer)
No equation to solve here. Do you merely want to multiply the two expressions?
(1 + 3x + 9x^2)(1-3x)
Multiply each term in one expression by each term in the other expression
1 + 3x + 9x^2
1 - 3x
- - - - - - - - - -
1 + 3x + 9x^2
. . - 3x - 9x^2 - 27x^3
- - - - - - - - - - - - - -
1 . . . . . . . . - 27x^3
1 - 27x^3
(1+3x+9x^2)(1-3x)
= (1+3x)(1-3x) + 9x^2(1-3x)
= 1 - 9x^2 + 9x^2 - 27x^3
= 1 - 27x^3
