Which country produces the best mathematicians?
Answers:
That's a hard one, in my opinion it would be best to choose a continent.
Really early great mathematicians - Eudoxus, Euclid, Archimedes.
More recent - Gauss, Euler, Newton, Leibniz, Fermat, Lagrange, Cauchy, Reimann.
All from Europe. You could argue that Eudoxus was born in Turkey which is between Europe and Asia, but he was born on the west coast of Turkey which is much nearer to Europe than Asia. Also nobody really knows where Euclid was born but he spent most of his life in Greece. Archimedes was born in Sicily which belongs to Italy so even though it is an island if you had to choose which continent it belonged to it has to be Europe.
If push came to shove I'd probably choose Germany, in my opinion Gauss (German) is the best ever with Newton (English) & Euler (Swiss) close behind. Leibniz was also German as was Einstein.

THIS IS AN EXTREMELY RACIST QUESTION. Anyone can be a good at maths, it's all down to work/teachers.
Besides, the answer is GREECE.
