Answers:
half it then times it by 2! that will give u the answer
well that depends on how long you cut it to be...
It's usually about .... this long.
twice as long as half
as long as u want it to be, lol great question though
A piece of string is as long as it is from one end to the other end.
The length of a piece of string is the longest possible distance between its two ends.

This long?
Twice the length from middle to end
No, How Long is Chinese, I bought Chow Mein from him last night. He's thin, but not a piece of string.
A piece of string is an object not a measurement! So if someone says to you "pass me that piece of string" they do not want a set measurement! They want a fuc###ing piece of string!! lol.
How long is a short run? How fast is real fast? what's a smidgens? How far is "Right" as in, right behind ya? How fast is "Right" as in I'll be right back? How did you get me to answer this question? have fun! :)
it is twice the the length from its middle to either end.
If it takes a man an hour to dig a hole
how long will it take two men to dig half a hole?
Long.
If, even on the remote chance that you are talking about strings in "string theory", I don't think you will get a satisfactory answer, since string theory is purely theoretical. However, the elementary strings (according to the theory) must have a size (not exactly length) on the order of planck length, i.e. 10^-33 cm.
