What is the difference between heat and temperture?
This is a question i was asked during a thermal imaging course
Answers:
Very simple let me explain to you as if you are in a middle school Heat is quantity of energy or just energy in any given matter/every matter has heat in it the only time the matter has not any heat is at minus 273 degree Celsius this is called absolute zero temperature, that means at this temperature there is no atomic activity.
Temperature is the degree of pressure, heat energy will always flow from high temperature to lower temperature just like water it flows from high pressure to low pressure.the more the difference in pressure greater the rate of transfer of the heat energy .the heat energy will keep on transferring from high temperature until the time both temperatures are the same.
cold is a relative term there is no such thing as cold .cold is just the lower degree of temperature, the amount of heat in a certain object depends on its mass{weight}multiply by specific heat multi ply by {temperature Celsius +273 }i hope it help you
heat is the energy that you feel and temperature is what you gage it by :)
temperature is the meaurement of heat
According to the particle theory, heat is energy, and it is transferred from hotter substances to colder ones. Temperature is a measure of the average energy level of the particles in a substance.
Heat is a form of energy transfer associated with the different motions of atoms, molecules and other particles that comprise matter when it is hot and when it is cold. Temperature is a measure of the tendency of an object or system to spontaneously give up energy
Heat is form of energy and temperature is a measure of how hot of cold something is.
Heat is the transfer of energy, heat can only transfer between areas of different tempeature.
Temperature is how well an item will spontaneously give up energy.
well, heat is like if its hot, and temperature is how hot/cold it is. im pretty sure
the number of litters in the words
heat is the energy used to get to a temperature. Temperature is a measurement gauge..
Heat =Energy, Temp=meassurement of heat
ie-watts ..... ie degrees c/f
heat is a some kind of work but we measure heat by temperature.
temperature is a measurement of heat
