Where can i take a course in zoology or animal management in the west midlands,uk?
Answers:
The University of Birmingham run a BSc Biological Sciences (Animal Biology) course which appears to be the most similar course in the West Midlands however you can perform a course search via area at www.ucas.co.uk if you wish to widen your field.
Have you contacted Moreton Morrell? I remember my brother taking a course there but cannot remember what it was. Know it wasn't all equine based as the website seems to be now.
There is an Advanced National Certificate in the Management of Zoo Animals course. It is run by Sparsholt college in Winchester, but it is done at home or in your workplace. It is usually studied by trainee zookeepers in any zoo in the Zoo Federation.
Try contacting Sparsholt, and they may be able to give you some advice and help about it, or maybe point you in a better direction.
I am from the west midalnds myself but i went to liverpool uni to do a BSC in Zoology, it was the best thing i ever did. you could also try Bangor in noth wales who alos have a zoology course and an MSc in Ecology.
Good luck with your course! i recommend looking in the ucas handbook, as the person above has sugested, for zoology courses, but i heartily recommend traveling futher afield to get the best course if possible
