Anything smaller than 10 microns across.

Doh
Er, 10 microns.
Anything less than 10 microns.
at a wild guess i'd say 9.99 microns would fit.
depends how hard you push it. turn a potato into 10micron chips
duh anythign smaller than 10 microns, the clue is in the question
very small ones indeed
Anything smaller than 0.01mm.
Are you taking the p*ss?
A particle has to be at most 10um in two dimensions to pass through the filter, but could be much longer in the third dimension, in the same way that a pole could pass through a mesh fence.

Though it's unlikely that a particle would orient itself in order to pass through, it is possible.
