Is it possible for human eyeballs to steam up?
Answers:
No. They are at 37 deg and the dew point needed to get a steaming up effect is far below that temperature, say 4 deg or less.
Yes if you boil them!
i don't know but if it was true, would be very nasty and wierd! why do you even ask this question?
yes, its quite fun too,
If you can hold your eyes open for as long as possible over the steam from a boiling kettle, be carefull not to lose your eyesight altogether though.
Your sense of humour is good. Never lose it!
When you grow up you might be a comedien. Only joking LOL
Sort of - if the air is warm enough and saturated enough, then yes, water will condense on a surface that is 37C (e.g. in a steam bath).
However, as the eyeball is permanently wet, the condesing droplets will merge with the water that is already there. So they won't 'steam-up' as such because that effect is due to tiny water droplets on a dry surface.
the human eyeball has a duct behind it called the lachrymal duct, this flows from the eye to the nose (nasal cavity) and drains tear fluid away, if this became blocked the front of your shirt would be wet within ten minutes, a lot more fluid passes over your eyeball than you would imagine.
therefore i deduce it impossible to steam up an eyeball.
you can get the desired visual effect i imagine by opening your eyes underwater, if thats what your after really insted of the answer
put your face over a kettle and find out
