PlEaSe HeLp Me!!!!!!!!?
What is meant by 2πr (2 pi r) when working with circles. Is it 2 x π plus r or multiplied by r.
Answers:
It means "2 times pi times r" (where r is the radius of the circle)
It's multiplied! =)
2 x Pi x Radius (r)

yes
2xpixr multipled
times r
You already asked this question and got my answer and 11 more like it. I gave a detailed answer. What seems to be the problem other than your typing?
r is multiplyed in that order so take 2 times pi, times r.
Or diameter times pi.
2πr = 2*π*r
2 x pi x r is the formula for the circumference of a circle. "R" represents the radius of the circle. You get the same result when you use Pi x d, or Pi times the diameter. So your equation is Pi times (radius times 2) or, if you like Pi times (diameter).
Does that help clarify things?
The other common formula for circles is Pi x r x r = area of the circle.
circumference of a circle = 2*Pi*r
it's 2 x pi x r
2πr is the circumference of a circle C
the area of a circle A =π r^r
(pi r squared)
i hope that this helps
It has been agreed that the mark of multplication can be left out. Therefore any characters just following each other are meant to be multiplied. So 2pir Means 2 times pi times r. It can be used with any chracters: xyz means x times y times z and so on. you may not leave it out with numbers following each other, as this would be confusing, but you can do it with a mixture of numers and characters like: 2x(3y+4x) means 2 times x times( 3 times y +4times x).
it mean 2x3;14 x which is the pi xthe radius of the circle
If 2 figures or symbols appear next to each other without a +,-,x or / then this means multiply. So here it is 2 x pi x r.
When numbers and characters are next to each other you should always multiply them.
