What does nature of a product mean?

Answers:
It means any and all the things about it that are it's 'qualities' that are particular to it:
ie : margarine is .a food, yellow, a manmade substance, soft, greasy, spreadable, melts, freezes, sliceable, (can have) a salty taste, can be eaten with other foods, digestable ..
Another could be a bolt: a manmade item, made by machinery, used in cars and engines and other such items, made of hard metal (steel, iron), can be cut by metal implements, has a shaped top so it can be turned with a spanner, used to connect other items together, has a thread cut into the lower half...
In other words if you imagine you are given a description of an item without being told what it is, its all the things that describe it - the 'nature' of it.
Something in nature that has been forced, but not produced. eg when foxes live in the city.
category.
ie food, cosmetics etc..

It means the nature of where the product came from originally!

I think the person who gave the first answer is way off track sorry!
It might mean the properties, what does it do? What's it made of? Is it soft? Is it malleable? Is it brittle?
