Does anyone else find giant hamsters a bit scary?
Answers:
i've seen live capi(y)baras, in Brazil, and it's true, there is something weird about them. Probably because of the totally unexpected scale.
It's a bit like a "honey I shrunk the kids" moment.
of course they're peaceful animals, but a scared and cornered mouse will bite, so one cannot help but imagine what a scared and cornered capybara might do - take your arm off probably ;-)
I play hacky sack with giant hamsters.
Aww, no! I love hamsters! They don't have that gross tail, so they're cute as can be
Not as scary as spiders!
not giant hamsters but giant rabbits do
not as scary as your avatar gosh it gives me the creeps
Are you talking about Capybara?
You mean like R.O.U.S.'s?
not just them..big hairy guinea pigs and rabbits too
No
Define giant.
I'd say anything bigger than a dog would be scary.
they make me shiver
Are there really such things? I thought they were just superimposed onto seventies comedy shows. I can't believe they're real. Oh my God. Where do they live? How do you kill them? Are they breeding? Sweet God in heaven, protect us from this oversized rodent invasion.. AAaaaaaaaarrrggh, here comes that giant cute little kitten from the Goodies!!!
This wouldn't be some subtle reference to Richard 'Hamster' Hammond would it?
Strange but true - Hamsters can't eat cress.
or drive jet cars.
Capybaras are more like giant guinea pigs - they are closely related to them. But I think they are cool. A semi-aquatic rodent. It would be great to have a big pond with one or two wallowing around in it.
