Where does the world's carbon dioxide emissions come from?
e.g. automobiles, planes, power stations, factories, algae, etc etc
Answers:
6 Billion ton of CO2 are man made each year. 90 billion tons come from biologic activity in the worlds oceans, 90 billion tons come from volcanoes and decomposing terrestrial based life. Compared to previous geological time periods the earth is actually CO2 impoverished. CO2 is a nutrient not a poison, All life on earth is carbon based, CO2 is essential. Only 0.28% of total global warming is attributed to man. The earth has been in a steady state of global warming for the past 18000 years, it is a natural phenomonon. THE GOVERNMENT AND THEIR SCIENTISTS ARE LIEING TO YOU, THE SCIENTISTS WANT A NAME AND GOVERNMENT FUNDING, THE GOVERNMENT WANT MORE TAX MONEY.
Even the most strict and expensive clamp down on human contribution to global warming would have a NEGLIGABLE EFFECT.
Acraz: You super ninja sites are all government sponsored
try this one, not sponser by any government.
Mansoor: Stop quoting the Government, They are liars, remember Iraq? If it's not independent it's not unbiased!

Don't forget volcanic activity (huge!) plant respiration and the sea floor and lakes like the one in Yellowstone!
Mostly from the use of fossil fuels for the generation of energy.

Mainly power stations, industry and cars, but it is naturally reocurring too. (volcanoes etc)
CO2 is produced by the oxidation of Carbon present in almost all compounds existing in the world. Although natural activities like emission of CO2 by humans during exhailing or decaying plantation etc. contribute to CO2 emission but without enthropological activities these emissions are balanced by natural CO2 sinks.
According to Intergovernmental Panel for Climate Change (IPCC), humans are responsible for adding more than 60% of global CO2 inventory after early industrialization. Out of this 70-90% only comes from Fossil fuel burning. The biggest of them all is the burning of coal for power generation.
Other sources of CO2 are Landuse change and forestry and treatment of municipal waste.
