we are told we do things coz our brain is tellin our body to do things, but how do we do it so quick? sometimes without even thinking about it?

Different parts of the brain do different things so although the conscious part may not know until after it happens the rest of your brain still gives the commands. If it didn't you would have to think about breathing, heart beating, digesting as well as walking, talking, seeing, writing... and its all done with nerves and electrical impluses
