How to change a fraction to decimal to a percentage?

I NEED AN EASY WAY TO CHANGE A FRACTION TO A DECIMAL THEN TO A PERCENTAGE. THIS IS FOR MY HOMEWORK, PLEASE PUT IT IN SIMPLE ENGLISH
THANKS

Answers:
Divide top number of the fraction by the bottom number
(1/4 = divide 1 by 4 = 0.25) That is fraction to decimal.
To get percentage just multiply by 100.
So the 0.25 becomes 25, or 25%

: - )
1/2 = 10/20 =0.5 * 100% = 50%
2/10
goes to
0.2
goes to
2%

does that help?
u can use the long devision
Divide the top number by the bottom number to get the answer in decimals.
Again for the percentage but then multiply the deicmal by a hundred to get the % figure (e.g. 1/2 =0.50X 100 =50%)
let me help by giving u an example

1/2 by along division converse n 2 a 0.5.then we can change it 2 a percentage by mutliply it with 100% so n this example we get 50%.anytime:)
for example, you have a fraction of 5/6
you just need to enter 5 divided by 6(decimal) and times 100 into your calulator, then you will get the percentage.
To change a fraction to a decimal, divide the numerator by the denominater. Once you have your answer in decimal form, it can be changed to a percent simply by moving the decimal point two places to the right. There you go!
Suppose x/y is a fraction.now, to change it into decimal divide x by y.now to change it into percentage multiply the answer of x divided y by 100.that's it.
For example, 1/2 is a fraction.divide 1 by 2.you'll get 0.5,multiplying it by 100 will give you 50%.
Divide the numerator by the denominator and that is the decimal equivalent then multiply this by 100 and that is the percentage.
Example: You have the fraction 1/4, dividing 1 by 4 is equal to 0.25which is the decimal equivalent, multiplying this by 100 you get the percentage which is 25%
A/B = decimal
decimal x 100 = percentage

example - if the fraction is 1/4. 1 divided by 4 is the decimal (.25).
Multiply the decimal by 100 to get the percentage. (25%)
Multiply by 100 to get percentage. Move the decimal point back two places to get the decimal. I think. Its 50 years since I was at school.
Example: 3/4
What number does 4 have to be multiplied by to get 3? Of course none. So put a decimal point on your paper. Multiply 3 by 10. (3 x 10 = 30). What do you have to multiply 4 by to get 30? The number that gets the closest to 30 is 7. (4 x 7 = 28). Put a 7 after the decimal point on your paper. There's a remainder of 2. Multiply 2 by 10. (2 x 10 = 20). What do you have to multiply 4 by to get 20? Five. (4 x 5 = 20). Put a 5 after the 7 on your paper. There is no remainder because 4 goes into 20 exactly 5 times.
To get a percent, multiply your decimal you just found by 100 and put a % sign after it. (Move the decimal place to the right two places). One place = 7.5 Two places = 75. So .75 x 100 = 75%
voila! 3/4 = .75 = 75%
1/4 = 0.25 = 25%
1/2 = 0.50 = 50%
asuming 100 is your whole number
With the fraction divide it to get decimal and multiply by 100 to get percentage. For example

1/4 = 0.25 = 0.25x100 = 25%

Does that help you?
