Do pigeons urinate?
Answers:
No. Birds of any kind do not urinate. Thier uric acids are released in their feces.
yeh its in there poop lol
Yes they do i know coz where i work they're in warehouse and ''p'' all over the goods packaging.
Yes
In all birds, the waste is excreted from a single opening in the bird's rump called the cloaca.
They don't pee. No birds do.
Yes and no,
Pigeons pass uric acid with their feces through a single hole known as the cloaca, this means their peep and poop are combined
So if a bird poops on you it has also peeped on you
sure they do - on my head !
Not exactly. Birds and many other animals such as snakes, lizards, turtles, vent their urates & fecal matter through a single waste vent, usually in one "lump", as it were. The urine comes from the kidneys and the feces from the bowel, but it all comes out together.
No, but the ones in Trafalgar square know how to take the p***
I'm sure someone at uni told me that birds don't excrete urine, but they get rid of a similar, more concentrated compound in crystalline form through the little holes in their beaks. I can't remember the chemical name. I'm sure I didn't imagine it, but can't be 100% sure!
Their poo has the wee in, check out pigeon poo, it's kinds watery
duh yer
the answers to the quistion can be no because they loose their toxins in their body either through stool or through skin.
With birds it comes out in their poo.
No, birds do all their backside business, and I mean ALL of it, incoming and outgoing, through one hole, the cloaca.
Yes but it is excreted together with the "poo". Their poo is fairly solid but when they are peeing it comes out like diorrhea. Other birds do the same - but are you aware that budgie droppings are a good source of vitamin B12? So if you are lacking that vitamin you dont need to buy a bottle of tablets - just nibble the droppings in your budgies cage!
