Because we are immune to our fingers.
cos they've got better things to do.
because that would be stupid.
because our brains don't recognise tickles from ourselves
Because your brain knows that you are doing it.
It can't differentiate between you and someone else doing it but it predicts your movement and damps the sensation down.

Our brain controls our nerve endings and when we try to tickle our self's our brain turns off the receptors that help us feel. Run your finger down the inside of your forearm, then get some one else to do the same. Then feel what's different about the two feelings? Try this when it's Cold, Hot and when your tie-rd.

Because our brain knows that we are going to do it to our body and it can prepare for it. Just think about the last time you got tickled - you didn't know exactly where the person tickling you was going to touch you and where they were going to move to next to tickle you, did you? It was the fact that it was unpredictable and not you that was doing it that made this happen
