Think of all the things we have now that can't operate without it. Cars have electronic parts and starters. Houses: lights, waterheaters, radios, tv's, computers, etc. Traffic lights.
But since we have it, why haven't we utilized the more efficient ways of making it and made it less expensive? It is inhumane to make such a vital commodity so hard to come by!
