depends on the bug!
About a second. It normally ends up under my shoe.
Most insects live for a few weeks.

Some live for years, some for days. Mayflies, for example, only live for a day or two as adults, but live for years as aquatic larvae.
About a thousand years. Would that bug bug you?
I know that some bugs only live for 1 day. Spiders however live for ages because i've had one camped out in my car for at leat 3 days.
Some bugs live for just a few weeks (including their complete life cycle) but a queen termite might live for 18 years.
