Which specie has the largest population on earth?

I m talking about animal or insect or fish or birds etc..Forget the micro/bacteria etc. I doubt its ant. What do you say?

Answers:
Man is not intelligent enough to exactly know that....cos major part of earth is water (sea) and there are numerous species of fish and numerous fish of one specie. But believe me..Man is nowhere near to that first 100 list of most populated species on earth.
I'd say termites.
try Homo Sapiens or cockroaches
flies xxxxxx
Krill
has to either ant or termite
My first thought was termites. In the context of your question, I still think so.
ants, probably.
There are many more insects than other animals.
Humans and cockroaches.
The insect.
misquitos and worms (does that count?). Darn those crazy blood sucking creatures.
I'd say something in the beetle (coleoptera) family.
"Arthropods are the most numerous species on Earth, outnumbering all other kinds of animals combined, but the habitual scarcity of many species, and their small-size, limit sample collection."
beetles
flies
At a guess I would say ants. Ugh!
Speccie, as in people who wear glasses?
spider there are over 72 spices
Ants.
They are almost everywhere you can think of.
I read somewhere in my distant past it was ants, unless something has been breading like mad, it's still ants.
saw a discovery programme some time ago. they outnumber every other living thing on this planet by 100.000.00 to one if i remember right. give or take 1 or 2
The cyanobacteria species belonging to the genus Prochlorococcus may be the most plentiful species on Earth.

Or it could be the bacterium SAR11

Collembola species are most abundant. But, that is not a single species.
The species Euphausia superba, the most abundant of the many species of krill. They reach densities of up to 10,000 to 30,000 individuals per cubic meter in Antarctic waters. There are approximately 500 million tons of this species on the planet.

Estimates are that ants may comprise more biomass, but this includes several species of ant.
I think annelid worms have tremendous variety, some occur in regions of the world which others have yet to invade.
Some form of parisitic worm life would be a good guess as any single fish can contain 1000's of individual worms.
