Does the founder of law of relativity ,has anything to do with the first Atomic bomb and the japanese?

Answers:
Albert Einstein came up with the theory of Relativity.

He came up with the equation E=mc2 which suggests that there is a HUGE amount of energy within matter. This is what inspired others to look for ways of releasing at least part of that energy.

Others such as Leo Szilard then started working on nuclear power plants, thinking about bombs also. In 1939 they finally discovered that it was possible to split uranium, and the uranium fission could lead to a chain reaction, and possibly a bomb.

Having discovered this, they started fearing that the Nazis were also on that path, and thus may soon produce a nuclear bomb (the Nazi scientists were the best in many disciplines). They were not dreaming, either - the Germans had suddenly stopped selling uranium on the world markets.

But Leo Szilard and his team proved unable to secure official support, and they even proved unable to secure support from the majority of physicists.

So Szilard turned to his world-wide famous friend, Albert Einstein, and asked him to write a letter to US president Franklin Roosevelt. Which was done in August 1939. In the letter Einstein explains that a nuclear bomb seems possible, that it may prove to be very very powerful, that the Nazis may be on the same path - and so that the US had better accelerate research in the field and devote a lot of resources to it.

Roosevelt listened to Einstein's advice. But the first experimental nuclear bomb did not detonate until 6 years later, in July 1945. And the first use in war was on August 6th 1945, on Hiroshima.

Bottom-line: yes, Einstein had something to do with the bomb because he was the initial spark that set many others to work on the idea, and he was the man who convinced the US president to release enough resources to work at this for real.

But also a Jew who had had to leave his country, Germany, because of the Nazis, his attitude was always to prefer defence over attack, as he was very much a pacifist. He never felt comfortable with the bomb, and he hated that two were actually used in war. And then he was a very strong opponent of nuclear armament.

Hope this helps

Yes. His name is Albert Einstein.
Einsteins maths helped establish the physics that built the bomb. he did not have anything to do with the research or manufacture of the A-bomb
Einstein worked closely with the Americans on the Manhatten Project; the project to build the bomb.

Americans? Einstein? Manhattan Project?
Really?
I thought it was the U.K. that gave the U.S.A. the proof how to spilt the atom and make a bomb?
I believe it was a part of the deal to cement a two way exchange of science that of course meant one way to the U.S.A.
Their reason?
The U.K. could not be trusted not to leak something to Russia.

Still what do I know?
I was born in 1924.
Yes. Albert Einstein developed the theories of relativity, and was involved in the Manhattan Project during the second world war. The Manhattan Project was a project initiated by the US government to develop atomic weapons - ultimately resulting in the two bombs destined for Japan.
Yes. He did the theoretical work and produced the equation E=mc^2 that implied that matter could be converted to energy. From this small idea came the Atomic Bomb.
When people do theoretical work, they have no idea what might be the applications or implications. The development of the Nuclear Bomb was a political decision, as was the decision to drop it on the Japanese.
I don't think Einstein was involved in the practical development of the bomb, he was not that kind of scientist. However, he did write to the US President warning him that Germany was conducting R&D, and this probably helped to set the US research in motion.
This was the Manhattan Project and it was led by Oppenheimer.
Einstein ,the founder of relativity ,was the one who came up with the equation E=mc2 .This mathematical equation became the principle of the first atomic bomb .
Einstein's work showed that it would be possible to construct a nuclear bomb, and Einstein, despite being a pacifist, wrote to the President, urging him to look into constructing one, otherwise the Nazis would get there first. Despite this, Einstein was completely shut out from the project, as it was feared that his pacifist sympathies would get in the way. Robert Oppenheimer was in charge of the project that built the bomb.
he was a jew
