Which is the least polluting form of transport?
I know planes are the most polluting but what's the least?
Answers:
bicycle, walking
Barges on a canal
Push bike, paddle boat
your legs
bicycling, walking, horse back riding, horse drawn carriages.
Walking or running. The manufacture of bicycles surely involves some kind of pollution.
Hopping is also less polluting, but probably less efficient for your legs!
Trucks carry most of our goods. But it takes so many of them. Rail roads would be the least pollutting, we should use them more. Think about how many truck loads would go on a train.Ships carry more and are less polluting also, we should use more.
walking
i think walking biking are the least but if you have to take a motor transportaion car pooling or bus.
Rollerskates!
On a serious note, for long travel, it is apparently rail travel. See the reference in the box below for a Guardian article on aviation pollution which cites train travel as "least polluting".
In terms of cars, it's down to the fuel and running your car on bio diesel is a green option, being a non non-toxic, biodegradable, carbon neutral fuel made from recycled vegetable oil. I beleive some places in the Netherlands run their public transport network on bio diesel.
Walking, running, jogging, etc.

sailing / kiting to pull you along on land. a ship was once built to cross the 'pond' using wind power driving a turbine driving a screw. which did not need wind direction and therefore could sail into the wind

Teleporting , mate , but no farting !
Two legs unless you had baked beans the night before.
Skating on thin ice (as we are all doing as regards to the environment).
bycicles
and things with an engine like barges are bad for the enviroment as they pump out greenhouse gases.
Running is polluting, because when you run you breathe more heavily. And what do us humans breathe out? Carbon Dioxide, among other things.
Fortunately the amounts of Carbon Dioxide produced in this way are insignificant, as, really, are the amount produced by transport. In fact, if we could work out how to stop cows from farting, that would offset all the increases of human Carbon emmissions over the past 1000 years.
