Specialist welding equipment and determination
Thats the best question ive ever seen on Answers but i dont know.
They Are Very Sneaky
They come in through the attic and down through the hole where the wires come into the lamp fitting, some light shines up though this hole which attracts them.
they crawl, the light fixture is not as tight fitting as it looks
It's obviously not as enclosed as it seems.
They're not in the "filaments". They're inside the glass cover over the bulb. There are large gaps in the fixture, and they enter as a way to get closer to the light.
get in before dying
They are not fully enclosed. If they were fully air tight, pressure would build up in them, and it doesn't.
dunno.but we filled a bulb up with water through a small hole that was drilled then filled again, people actually believed that was what had caused it to blow.
Well I assume that they are not dead when they go through the gaps.
